Washington DC – December 24, 2009

Christmas is a joyous occasion that many people around the world, from all denominations, celebrate with kindness and love in their hearts.

During this 2000-year old tradition of rejoicing the birth of Jesus Christ, RPS asks the Syrian Christian community, whose generosity and affection makes Syria a unique country in the midst of extremism, terror, and instability to remember all the people of Syria living under tyranny and oppression.

As the original inhabitants of our sacred land, your fortitude is an inspiration to all of us. We ask you to fight for what is best for our country as Jesus would have fought for equality and against despotism.

Merry Christmas
